I am a writer and editor based in Seattle, Washington, USA. I offer professional writing, editing, proofreading, ghostwriting and creative copywriting services, as well as general manuscript evaluation.

My current and past clients include both local and international authors, small business owners/entrepreneurs, and creative artists. I also work with those in academia.

That I love writing so much, I would do it for free, but hey, we all have to make a living! (Did I mention I have a doctorate? Well, I do. In addition to an English BA!)
And it might not sound that glamorous (although in its own way, I guess it is =)), but this girl's dream is to have a stack of books to edit a mile high, and a giant latte mug to go with them, like, indefinitely.

The Business Side of Things:
My rates are hourly, by the page, or by project. My hourly rates now start at $20-25.oo an hour for proofreading, $35-40.oo an hour for copyediting, and $50.oo and up for copywriting. Per page rates are now: $3.oo/page for proofreading, $6.oo-$10.oo/page for basic copyediting, and $10-15.oo/page for extensive edits/re-writes/ghostwriting. Fees for work done on a project basis vary, as do those for manuscript evaluation/reading, but both are reasonable. Please contact me for more information, and to get me started on your project!
(Note: I hope to have direct merchant capacity on my site soon, both for my writing services and for greeting card orders. (I am also an artist.) I do accept payment via paypal already, and can ship greeting card orders out direct by US Mail.)
